Happy Holidays!
Thank you for all your support in 2024!
Hello! It’s time for another one of my newsletter again—the last of 2024.

I want to start off by thanking all of you for being here to show your support for me. The reason I make art is selfish—to make myself happy. I exhibit my art (in the physical world and virtual world) with hopes of making a connection with viewers, and I am so grateful for the new friends I made and old friends I reconnected with, through art. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I’m also grateful for my family’s support—my husband Ken, my daughters, my mother, and my sisters—each played a role in supporting my increased time and energy in my art practice this year. Each hour I spend making art/attending an opening reception means an hour of Ken’s time making a meal or driving the kids to their activities. I am truly lucky to have his support. My daughters are also much more mature now and take up a lot more chores at home. They BOTH are now taller than me.
By the end of 2024, I will have participated in a total 23 exhibitions this year—including two invitational and seventeen juried. I have also participated in the West Medford Open Studios again, after a long time away. On top of that, I jointly self-published a photo book Alchemy of the Unknowns with my project partner James David Tabor, for whom I am also grateful; without his being my co-pilot, diving back into the exhibition world would have been much more daunting with all the rejections I had to face.
I wish you all a joyous and safe holiday season. May 2025 bring you love, health, and creativity.
See you in 2025!
—Lisa
